Why did you decide to become a Professional Santa?
In the fall of 2024 I was invited to perform as Santa Clause at several events. Feeling the joy and love from the children and their families during my very first experience portraying Father Christmas was life affirming.
I spent a few moments with a two year old girl who had the biggest eyes. At first those eyes were full of fear; welling up with tears. Watching them transform to happiness and joy in just a couple of minutes was magic. Her mother said “She doesn’t talk much yet.” I responded “I think we understand each other just fine.” The sadness in those giant eyes when it was time for me to move on to other children broke my heart but also told me I had done the jolly old elf justice.
I think I can do this; I think I should do this.
Seaside Santa is a Professional Real Bearded Santa. Mrs. Coral Clause and I are dedicated to bringing holiday cheer to the children and families of Northeast and Central Florida. Serving Volusia and Seminole counties; traveling further for special events.

What is a Professional Santa?
Portraying Santa Clause is an improvisational performance of a well known beloved character. That performance can be for an audience of one child, a group of siblings, a large family or a theater full of people. I put the same care and effort into a quiet conversation with a two year old and their mother as I do when waving to a crowd from the top of a fire engine in a parade.
Professional Santa's can answer the hard questions. Children do not just ask what's Rudolf's favorite breakfast cereal they will ask Santa to bring back loved ones who have passed away or reunite divorced parents. Santa needs to be ready with thoughtful answers to the most difficult questions.
"Vestis virum facit" - "Clothes make the man". As a Professional Santa I take great pride in my appearance. My Santa suit is clothing not a costume. My robe, vest and pants were custom made for me by tailors with decades of experience dressing Santa Clauses. I have multiple Santa looks for you to choose from; Santa Bruce can even arrive at your event on his red Harley Davidson.

Real Bearded Santa
Santa Bruce's beard and mustache are home grown. Maintaining a white beard and mustache year round represents a commitment to the character and dedication to the spirit of the North Pole. I am a member in good standing of the Fraternal Order of Real Bearded Santa’s (FORBS). Sporting the big white beard means I must be ready to slip into character at any moment when out in public. It is like being a minor celebrity. I will get a lingering look from a child asking "are you?" If its in passing I'll give them a wink and tap my noise. When time permits I stop and talk to them and their parents reminding them to stay on the nice list.
